Wood Culture: teak and rattan furniture in Dubai since 2018

Wood Culture is a Dubai furniture brand specialising in teak, rattan and natural-material furniture and home decor. Founded in 2018 out of a love of travel, craft and natural materials, we bring together the work of skilled artisans abroad with our own workshop in Al Quoz, Dubai.

Where our furniture comes from

Around 70% of our collection is handcrafted by artisan partners in Indonesia, a country with a long tradition of teak carving and rattan weaving. We choose these pieces directly with the makers, from teak root coffee and dining tables to woven lounge chairs, swings and decor.

The other 30% is made locally in our Al Quoz workshop. These locally made pieces can be fully customised, from dimensions and materials to finishes, so they fit your space exactly.

Made to measure in Dubai

Need a different size, wood tone or fabric? Our workshop customises locally made furniture in around 2–3 weeks. Customised imported pieces take 90–120 days. Our team can also help through a design consultation, from choosing materials to planning a full room.
